Doesn't even deserve one star. Poor service. Was waiting for a whole hour for my appointment and they took other patients in instead. Completely missing my appointment all together and then refused to take me in until the next available slot. Absalutly appalling and not happy with this experience. Happens every time I come here.
Went with an ear infection. Got to the chemist with script and waited and waited. Finally it was discovered that the Dr put someone else's name on the script! I was directed to go back to the Dr where u had to wait for the Dr who wanted to know my name and what was wrong with me before giving me the script with my name. And then back to the chemist. No apology. I was in a lot of pain and found the experience stressful and unprofessional.
Average waiting time is 30 minutes. 1 hour is not uncommon. You need well planned for an appointment, at least half day off, bring your favourite book or smartphone with a lot of data, energy drink and food. Remember you are sick, take it easy.
Went to the Beerwah Family Clinic for the first time yesterday, the staff and doctors were wonderful, but most of all a big thank you to the nurse who helped me, its nice to have someone that cares so much.
I went into this clinic mistaking it for a pharmacy. I was looking for some basic medication and they told me I needed a $100 consultation to be able to get a script to purchase the medicine from the pharmacy which was 2 minutes away. I didnt feel I needed this so went to the pharmacy and got what I needed in 10 minutes. This wasnt the receptionists fault as she phoned the doctor to confirm and it was his advice she followed, clearly just a money making scheme.
