This place is a gem! Staff were extremely friendly, and food was great. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.
Wanted two plates of food to share for three for lunch. Waiter said the chef will cut both dishes into three. Food came out uncut. Asked waiter if it could be cut with a sharp knife like promised. Waiter came back with food and knife and said the chef told us to cut it ourselves. I was offended. And will never go back. The food was very ordinary anyway and had no flavor.
Lovely cafe. Great food and friendly staff with the exception of the head chef who is an incredibly rude individual. Obviously been watching to much of Gordon Ramsey with an ego to match.
A morning out with a girlfriend was ruined this morning. After entering Vianta at 9.00am you could cut the air with a knife. The usual happy atmosphere and ambience from Staff was zero.A morning of a lot of broken glasses coffee spills all over front counter menus and floor continued through the morning. My girlfriend and I detected things were certainly not going right for any staff member. The head of Staff had words to Staff members several times which could be seen and heard by all. Her behaviour was also noted by the anxious body language stressed voice and hand movements and comments.My girlfriend and I were there from 9.00am until 10.45am and in that time the atmosphere escalatead. The morning was very unpleasant and disappointing for us both as regular clients. Management needs to look at hiring people who can perform and control under pressure. No matter how chaotic one should always have a pleasant voice and great people with a radiant smile not fall to pieces with negative body language and stressed voice especially when calling Coffee Ready. This sounded like someone was about to die. The head of Staff should have people skills in all situations and carry those skills through to all other Staff members. May re think where we will meet next time.
